Take "responsibility." It's not something you hear much about from the left. You do, from the right, of course. It's part of the tension of the modern political spectrum. But responsibility is absolutely key to understanding how freedom would gain purchase and make sense in society. That the left-libertarians do not talk about a culture of responsibility suggests to me that leftism is just another adolescent pose, a rebellion against responsibility. Well, it's a suggestion, not a complete tip of the hand.
