Propaganda cartoon produced by Harding University, Searcy, Arkansas, 1948, warning of the dangers of socialism–which is refers to obliquely as “isms”. It’s a bizarre combination of pretty explicit anti-communist, anti-statist messages, plus a decent–if airbrushed–promotion of an idealized version of American capitalism, mixed in with endorsement of maionstream welfarism (unions, right to strike, etc.).
