This was a very fast-talking, dense episode with a lot of lecturing and talking from my end, but I think we covered a lot of ground, from the foundations of law and property rights to IP law.

ALL property is intellectual property. Property is not the thing that is owned, it is the set of rights and obligations, within the society in we live, that identify one as the ‘owner’ of any thing. As such, there is no difference whether the thing is a pure concept (as in patents) or a piece of land.
